Apartmenthaus Triton

The room itself was fine, and the English-speaking receptionist was very kind and tried to help. Still, my stay at hotel Triton was disappointing. My second-floor room had no internet, and the other WiFi network they gave me didn't work there either. I asked to use the premium network because its signal reached my room better, but they refused. Some staff members don't speak English, so I had to call back later when I needed to speak with someone.

We had plenty of space, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and in good condition. The food was great at both dinner and breakfast, and the hotel was accommodating and gave very good service. Staff were friendly and polite, too. It's in a great location.

The Bahnstr. Tram stop is right outside, which is handy. It's a nice, cosy hotel, though service was average and breakfast choices were limited. Room sizes vary a lot, so whether you get a regular-sized room or a small one seems to be luck. There's no lift, so guests in rooms on the second or third floor have to carry their own luggage upstairs.

There was no reception when I arrived, so I had to call to be let in. The walls don't block sound, and the guests next door woke everyone at 4am with loud talking, phone sounds, TV, and other noise. They were also going up and down the stairs and slamming doors. I could even smell cooking. The pillows were terrible, and the refrigerator didn't work. Management never replies to email. This was a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend staying here, even if you're in a hurry and can't find somewhere else.
