Hotel Medo Köln

The breakfast was far better than we expected for €19.50 each. The buffet was closed because there weren’t enough guests, to avoid food waste, so we worried we’d get just a small plate. Instead, there was plenty of beautifully presented, tasty food. We recommend eating breakfast here. They also let our two dogs stay with us in the breakfast area instead of making us sit outside, which we appreciated. The dogs cost an extra €20, which seemed acceptable, and all the staff were kind and helpful. Our room was a bit dated but had everything we needed. The carpets are old but looked clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, the duvet was pristine white and fluffy, and the pillows were perfect. There was plenty of parking by the hotel. We were happy with our stay and recommend it.

Our room was quite warm, but Mohammed was so sweet and brought us a fan. The staff were always happy to help, and the hotel was clean and had everything we needed. The lobby bar was handy, and the lobby and restaurant are modern, nice places to relax. They sell breakfast, though we didn’t get to try it. We’ll be back for the Summer Jam Festival next year and will stay at hotel medo again. Thank you all xox

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty, and the service was professional. The staff were happy to answer any questions. We stayed here for a city trip to Köln in a nice family room with a separate children’s room. Buses and the train are nearby, so it’s easy to get to the city centre.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Breakfast was especially good, with lots of fresh, delicious options. I stayed here in Cologne last week and had a great time. The hotel is close to the city centre and tourist sights. My room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean, with daily cleaning and cozy beds. I was very happy with my stay, and I plan to come back. I’d recommend it to everyone.
