The people managing the building went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible, and the place itself has a lot of charm and character. It's in a quiet neighborhood, under 15 minutes on foot from the railway station, dome, museums, parks, and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was sparkling clean, and the bedding was comfortable, which we really appreciated after long walks around town. I can only recommend staying here in Cologne.

The location was great, and the apartment was clean, with a kettle, ground coffee, a French press, and kitchen basics. The bathroom was clean and in good shape too. The bed was fine even though it was up in the mezzanine loft, but the pillows weren't comfortable and it got a bit warm. We tried to sleep late on our second day, but noise from guests upstairs and people on the stairs woke us. I'd still recommend the place, though it felt a little expensive.

We loved our stay in Cologne. The apartment was clean and well stocked, and the top floor of the old church building gave us great city views. Shops and restaurants were nearby, and the train station was just a quick walk away.

When one of our group got locked out of their apartment at 11.00pm, the building management came by promptly and cheerfully to sort it out. They were friendly throughout, even bringing extra pillows when asked. There were umbrellas for rainy weather, plus two crates of free non alcoholic beer on a landing for guests. The six of us came from Ireland and stayed in this charming place, a surprising mix of apartments with different layouts and plenty of character. My friend, her son, and I shared two separate rooms linked by a spiral staircase. The gorgeous windows were Gothic style, and one level had a small balcony. We shared a generously sized, fully equipped kitchen. The other couples had rooms with their own distinct styles too. It's a short walk from the main area in a quiet neighborhood, and I can highly recommend it in Cologne.
