Svyvo Cologne - Serviced Apartments

We were in Cologne for a wedding and wished we’d had more time to enjoy this place. It’s a lovely, modern apartment, decorated with care, and I especially liked the open loft layout. The hosts were responsive and helpful from the Airbnb booking through check-in and check-out. You collect the keys from the mailbox, and everything else you need is already in the apartment. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I spent four days at Svyvo and would happily book it again if I return to Köln. The room had all sorts of useful little things, including coffee capsules, cooking seasonings, Netflix, a shoehorn, and an umbrella. It was set up with plenty of thought. The only small inconvenience was that the washing machine couldn’t dry clothes as well. The location was excellent, a short walk from Ehrenfeld-Venloerstraße station, with U-Bahn, S-Bahn, trams, and buses for getting around the city or heading to places like Aachen. Ehrenfeld is worth a look too, it has a distinct, lively feel.

Lovely rooms and well-equipped apartments, in a handy location for getting around the city.

The apartments each had a fun little extra, from a popcorn machine or movie projector to a yoga corner or even a PSP. They were stylishly furnished, and the whole week with six apartments for our study trip went smoothly. We came with 30 students in September, and Marcel, the landlord, was helpful and available throughout booking, registration, and check-in. We’d love to return. We were back here in May 2026 with almost 30 students, and I can only repeat what I said last year: we’ll be back. Thanks, Marcel!
