We paid 550€ for four nights over New Year's weekend, and it was well worth it for the price. The triple room on the 7th floor worked well for three of us, with plenty of space, large beds and a big bathroom. Reception was very friendly and happy to accommodate our requests. Cafes, restaurants, shops and nightlife were all perfectly placed nearby. The only nuisance was cleaning early in the morning, so put the do not disturb sign on your door. It's not a luxury hotel, but I'll definitely stay again.

Reception staff were really helpful. They arranged Koln Cards for us and two taxis back to the airport. We were ten people visiting the Christmas markets and friends for a birthday. The rooms were great, the showers excellent, and breakfast had all the basics covered. I'd like to come back in summer and walk by the river. Thank you.

My room was clean and the reception staff were kind, but at 100 euros a night I expected much more. From other guests' photos, it looks like some people get modern renovated rooms, while I ended up in an old, rundown, spartan one. There were lots of steps between the room, elevator and reception, which is a real accessibility issue. Street noise was overwhelming: football fans, couples arguing at 5 am, motorcycles, all sorts. Even knowing the hotel was in the Belgian Quarter didn't prepare me for that. There was no AC or mini fridge, and shutting the window against the noise made the room hot and stuffy fast. The mattress was tiny and flimsy, with no back support.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was pleasant. The pillows were too thin for me, though, and the duvets were too narrow.
