I spent six weeks at The New Yorker while I was moving to Cologne, and had an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout. The location is ideal if you're here for a conference, though depending on what you need, you might prefer somewhere on the other side of the Rhine. I guess it's a matter of preference. Thanks to the team at 'the new yorker hotel, cologne'.

The staff were nice, and check-in and checkout were easy. Our double room was spacious, but the furniture was dusty, there were spiderwebs, and the towels didn't smell clean. For the price and star rating, it wasn't worth it. The hotel doesn't offer parking. We were lucky to find one space out front, but it belongs to the city and is open to anyone. The area feels industrial, with little sightseeing nearby, though we did find some nice restaurants. There is no dinner at the hotel.

The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, with good lighting, and the service was kind and polite. Breakfast is available as an add-on. The hotel is a little outside the center, but there are connections.

The housekeeping and breakfast teams, as well as reception, were helpful and nice. Special thanks to the lady working on 15 August and the housekeeping gentleman, who helped us a lot and arranged a better room. Thanks as well to the reception and breakfast gentlemen for being so helpful and polite.

It's a bit far from the city center, but the best option for Bootshaus. The hotel looked good, the rooms were clean, and the staff were the best. At check-in they opened the terrace just for me. I overslept checkout by half an hour, but they didn't mind or charge me extra. "You partied a bit too hard, those things happen, no worries." Best staff ever.
