Hotel Traumblick became part of one of the most meaningful moments of my life. I had been dreaming of seeing Eltz Castle for years, and Shawn proposed there, down on one knee. I hadn't realized that our visit was part of a much bigger plan. The staff were so excited for us afterward and congratulated us with real warmth. Every interaction showed such kindness and care, in the best way. We'd arrived after hours because unfamiliar train connections from Paris had delayed us. The hotel kept in touch with Shawn, and the key was waiting exactly where they said it would be. After the long trip, that thoughtful, stress-free arrival was a relief. The next morning, the wonderful “boss lady” helped Shawn arrange a cab to Wierschem, Germany, for the castle visit. It was my first time in Germany, and staying in Cochem made the trip unforgettable. The town is charming, romantic, and full of heart. I can't wait to come back someday and stay here again.

Breakfast was outstanding, fresh and varied, with excellent Brötchen, great coffee and tea, and fruit juice. The staff were pleasant, and there's safe parking onsite. The location is good, and the rooms are being improved, but ours still had problems: a noisy bathroom fan, a door that wouldn't close properly, and mold on a bedroom wall. I expect the hotel will be better in a couple of years, but right now it isn't quite up to standard.

We had a beautiful room with a lovely view, and the location was great. The staff were friendly too. Construction work on Monday and loud guests in the corridors early in the morning made for some noise. The hotel wasn't responsible for the source, but sound carried easily. This happens on trips, so I bring putty earplugs. 4.5 stars.

We had a very comfortable stay with our little one. The rooms were clean and cozy, the food was very good, and the owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money, and I'd recommend it.

The balcony view was gorgeous, the decor was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The walls are really thin, though. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we could hear muffled talking, rubber soles on the stairs, footsteps, and what sounded like furniture being moved next door and upstairs. It woke me around midnight and again at 2 AM. One pull-out sofa wouldn't lock, so I used the small table to stop it sliding out from under my daughter. I'd stay again, but only on the top floor. There's an elevator, so that would be fine.
