We found the rooms simple but comfortable and very clean. The building and interior have a somewhat postmodern style, but it all fits together nicely. The owner was warm and welcoming, treating us like family, and the breakfast was basic but tasty, made personally for the guests. The staff were very nice too. We had no hot water during our stay, though we were only there for one night and it didn’t bother us. If you’re staying in Dachau and want a place with warmth and soul instead of overpriced luxury, this is a great choice. Highly recommended.

The rooms were warm and very comfortable, with a great shower, just what we wanted on a snowy winter night. We arrived very late because of car trouble, but the amazing owner had a room ready for us, even a phone charger, and was kind, supportive, and full of helpful advice. Super nice people, that’s customer service.

We decided at the last minute to stay in Dachau the night before visiting the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, and happened upon this hotel. Tony Burgmeier, the sixth-generation owner, was delightful from check-in right through to our departure. He welcomed us at breakfast as well and served us drinks while we chose from the breakfast spread. We highly recommend staying here.

It’s in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk from downtown and the train station. The rooms were clean, and the hotel staff were outstanding. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe!

The location is beautiful, and so is the hotel. The staff are very helpful. In summer, I’d like to see at least a fan in the room, and the Wi-Fi could be better.
