I booked a room and got a confirmation, but then the hotel tried to cancel it with the message, “that is not a reservation for the hotel.” I don’t understand what they meant. It felt very unprofessional, and their message didn’t explain the issue.

I found them through Lieferando, since it isn’t obvious from Google Maps or general online searches that this hotel makes some of the city’s best pizza. The dough is tasty with a great texture, the fresh toppings are generous, and it arrives really hot. Their minestrone also has freshly cut vegetables rather than frozen ones. The pizza is so good I’ll definitely order again. A couple of things could be better: the soup is too salty, and half the current salt would be plenty. The tiramisu lacks character and is overly sweet.

The Garda is usually very quiet, for reasons I can’t figure out. I was the only customer there today. The pasta is excellent, especially the Sauce Rossini. I wouldn’t recommend the pizza, though.

The prices are fine and the atmosphere is pretty friendly. It’s just an “it’s OK” kind of place, nothing great but nothing bad either. I’d go back if I couldn’t find another option.
