Hotel Jungstil

The breakfast is okay, though nowhere near the best, and the location is pretty boring. On my first visit I had a normal room and everything was perfect. This time I stayed for 3 day and got upgraded to a really great apartment room. The rooms are like new. The smaller one had an XBOX, while the apartment had a sauna.

The internet is good, but there’s no breakfast, so you have to go to another hotel for it. There’s no AC, just a small table fan and no ceiling fan, which makes the room really stuffy. The bathroom is small, and the shower area is so cramped you can’t even bend. You get only one large towel and one glass in the room. The owner leaves after 8 pm, making check-in difficult after that. If you forget your key, you’re in trouble because the hotel auto-locks the door and you can be stranded outside trying to work out how to get another one. Honestly, why run a hotel if you’re not going to provide good facilities?

The hotel has no air conditioning and wasn’t very clean. At checkout they charged me an extra 200€ for one night, claiming I’d checked out late, even though it was exactly 11:30, before midday. I told receptionist Neil I’d post an honest review on Google, and he said he’d ban me from all hotels in Darmestadt and frakfurt if I did. The staff were unprofessional overall. It’s a pity, because the hotel is new and deserves more professional staff.

Everything else was fine, but the rooms need air conditioning. I had a sauna built into the bathroom, and the whole room was getting hot.
