DORMERO Hotel Deggendorf

The towels and soaps were good quality, and the bed was good too. Staff service was excellent. Room cleaning could be better, especially the floors and smaller details, as you might expect at a large, heavily managed hotel chain. Still, it’s worth a stay.

The breakfast buffet was fresh, varied, and delicious, and the free minibar and lightning-fast Wi-Fi were nice extras. I also liked the red mood lighting and the quirky humor in the room decor. It gave the place some personality. My room was spotless, spacious, and quiet, with a bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The Smart TV and adjustable lighting added a tech-friendly feel. The modern design worked well with the warm Bavarian hospitality, and everyone I met, from the front desk to housekeeping, was courteous, professional, and genuinely kind. The peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city center and walks by the Danube made the location work well for business, sightseeing, or a quiet break. Dormero Hotel Deggendorf felt comfortable and distinctive without being stuffy. I’ve stayed at many hotels around Europe, and Dormero Deggendorf really stood out. I’ll be back and will recommend Dormero to others.

We were passing through Germany and chose this hotel for an overnight stop. It’s conveniently close to the motorway, and the staff were friendly and approachable at check-in. The rooms were clean, and the free drinks in the fridge were a welcome bonus. Breakfast had an exceptional range of food and drinks. There’s a pleasant walk into the main town, and a few bakeries, pizza places, and restaurants are nearby if you’d rather not make the walk. Great value and a good experience all round. We’ll use it again when travelling across Germany.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young woman at reception. Breakfast was good, with a solid choice, and there’s parking on site. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a very comfortable, large bed. The bathroom was a little cramped but manageable, and the minibar was free.
