Hotel Landrestaurant Schnittker

The food is what makes this place stand out. I've been three times in the last two years, and every meal has been exceptional. Portions are generous, almost too much for me, especially dessert. Prices are higher than at the standard tavern in the next village, but for this quality, compared with a city restaurant, I actually find them inexpensive. It's a country restaurant, and the dining room is old-fashioned, with dated furniture and lamps, and a somewhat dark feel. Still, it's not uncomfortable. The waitress was nice and the wait wasn't too long, though the service doesn't match a good restaurant in a bigger city. Wine came in the water glasses already on the table. It was set for four even though there were only two of us, and the extra place settings stayed put. There were a few other small things that could've been better, but the imperfections don't really matter in the end.
