The manager looked me up, but rather than apologising for how the staff behaved, he complained about my review too. I asked him to email me since we were just leaving and could resolve it that way. I've heard nothing, so I suspect he isn't interested in further contact. After waiting two days for a reply, I feel future guests should be warned about the hotel's verbally abusive staff. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was the first time a receptionist called me Schwein (Pig). Twice! I had left a negative review after being woken in the morning by a hedge trimmer just outside our window. I spoke with both the man trimming the hedge and the receptionist, and they seemed indifferent. An apology could easily have avoided the review. Shortly afterwards, an enraged receptionist confronted me angrily about it, muttered “Schwein” repeatedly, and left.
