The trip itself went wonderfully: every accommodation, tour, ferry, and rental car worked out well and kept exceeding our expectations. I also really appreciated the travel materials. We could view everything in a browser and in the Trip Plans app, from vouchers and hotel details to ferry information, restaurant suggestions, whisky plans, and useful links for calls, navigation, and websites. It was all so well organized. We booked a five-day Scotland trip with a whisky package, then kept tweaking the itinerary. I admit I was probably a bit exhausting with all those requests, but Reisekultouren GmbH and Dr. Birgit Bornemeier handled them patiently. From the start we felt looked after. When something couldn't be arranged as we'd hoped, they explained why and offered a good alternative. Even changes at the last minute were easy, and Dr. Bornemeier was always knowledgeable and helpful. The planning was uncomplicated and made us even more excited for the holiday. I work in hospitality and own a hotel, so I know how bookings through agencies can go. Thanks so much for these wonderful days. I'll be booking with them again next year, around the same time but for a different tour. I absolutely recommend them.

The apartment is spacious and tidy, with a large Rewe nearby and Detmold’s center within walking distance. Street parking can be hard to find, but the Rewe parking garage is a good backup. It costs up to €6 for 24 hours.
