The restaurant had locals coming in for lunch and dinner every day, and the owners reminded me a lot of my Oma and Opa. The food was great, the people were engaging, and the atmosphere felt wonderful. I especially enjoyed the quaint, welcoming bar and restaurant, as well as the sauna and grounds. I was there for a two-night, three-day business trip, and the charming little hotel is about 20 minutes from Spangdahlem Air Base. I usually stay within a half-hour of work and prefer places off the beaten path. I speak German, which helped, though the limited staff and management will do their best with other languages. Parking is right outside, and I felt genuinely safe there. It’s not the place to choose for a 5-Star experience, but if you enjoy local culture and atmosphere like I do, I wholeheartedly recommend this pleasant little inn. The staff are generous and clearly committed to good service.

A nice hotel at a reasonable price. Some people stayed out late and made noise, which carried into the rooms.

Good for hiking trips, but our room was right above the bar, so the evening noise was pretty loud.
