Villa Prinzhorn

The room was okay, and the housekeeping staff were very kind. The food and beverage staff, though, were rude. My son was 2.5 years old and playing with the luggage when a waitress told him it was too expensive to play with. In the morning, nobody asked whether I wanted coffee or tea. I tried getting coffee from the machine myself, and another waitress said the machine was too expensive and that she would get the coffee. Being told to be careful because things might be expensive felt rude. That isn't hospitality.

The rooms were a decent size and clean, and the service was good, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. The food was way overpriced for Diepholz, even if prices like that might make sense in a big city. You can also pay 9.90 euros for a round of beer for the kitchen crew, which was the funniest thing I'd seen. Find somewhere else to eat. The hotel itself was okay, though the single booking came with only half the bed made, LOL. They don't take AMEX, so think twice about going. Best regards, and have fun in Diepholz.

Everything looked new and clean after the 2019 refurbishment. It's a small hotel in Diepholz, within walking distance of Diepholz HBF. There's free Wi-Fi, plus a decent restaurant and a good bar. My stay went smoothly, and I'd recommend it.

The staff were very helpful, and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful.
