Even in the rain and bad weather, they put us outside without asking if we'd rather sit indoors, despite several free tables inside. The food was pretty good, but we waited 45 minutes after ordering. All things considered, I wouldn't come back.

The friendly server was the one bright spot. We'd been impressed by the good reviews, but our meal turned out to be a letdown. The schnitzels were thin and clearly hand-pounded, yet the breading was sticky and mealy. The potato salad didn't seem homemade, though perhaps someone had added the cucumber pieces by hand. The fries tasted strongly of old oil, and the table next to us noticed it too. A total disappointment.

The place was packed, but the atmosphere was good and the service was attentive. I stopped in during my bike tour through Bavaria to watch football that evening, and they quickly brought me a delicious beer and a nice snack. I'd definitely return.
