Right in the center of Dinslaken, next to the open-air theater and the castle, this is a cozy little hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, and the breakfast buffet is very nice. The rooms aren't especially modern, but they're very clean and well looked after. It can get a bit warm on hot summer days.

Whenever I return to see family, I book Hotel am Park. I left Germany in 1980 to build a career in Los Angeles, and Dinslaken is my hometown. I love staying here for the helpful, friendly staff, great rooms, and an amazing breakfast buffet. The best!

The breakfast was wonderful, and the whole stay still felt relaxing. I had a warm welcome and great service. My room was big, with a very large desk for work or study and really comfy chairs. The vibrating massage chair was cool, and the WiFi was okay. The reception smelled bad, though, and the room was a little better but still needed fresh air. Opening the window for a few minutes fixed that. Then I couldn't work out how to turn on the heating.

A quiet, really nice place, and the rooms are very spacious for what they cost.
