We stopped overnight on the way to a holiday on the Baltic coast and got a friendly welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the meal was great, and the beer was good. Worked perfectly for us as a stop on a road trip, and would suit a business stay too.

A clean, cozy little place with a hospitable feel, just outside Dinslaken. I stayed a few days for work, and it suited the trip well. The train station is 4.6 km away, and there's a small grocery store within walking distance, about 1.6 km. I'd have given it five stars if the rooms had an electric kettle and a mini fridge.

Everything was very clean, and the lady at the service desk was very friendly. The room was too warm, though, and breakfast was missing fresh items. The interior could use an update. Fine for one night.

I don't usually write reviews, but this hotel deserves one. Our car broke down on the way to our holiday destination, leaving us stranded in Dinslaken. The hotel was perfectly okay and very clean, and the German food was excellent, if that's your thing. What really stood out was how much effort the management made to help us with transport and information. They even found a place where the kids could do something during our stay. This is the least we can do to show our appreciation.

Hotel Zum is my favorite hotel and restaurant in Germany. You can feel an old German soul there. It has a beautiful location, and the staff are great and always ready to help. Parking is free, and I can always find a spot for my car. The restaurant serves the best schnitzel in Germany!
