The building felt a bit uncared for and loveless, like someone wanted to make money cheaply without paying attention to the interior. The rooms were clean, and there were towels for everyone, but I can’t recommend the place. The window wouldn’t open far enough for fresh air, the toilet seat shifted when we sat down, and there were only two outlets. Our little lamp was basically decoration because there was nowhere nearby to plug it in. The beds were old and squeaky, and the pillows and blankets were old and very flat. The shower curtain had black dots, which looked like mold. I didn’t try the kitchen, so I can’t comment on it.

Good value for the price, with very friendly staff and a good breakfast. The rooms are basic and suited to workers. The bus station and main road can get really loud sometimes.

The hosts were very warm and attentive to what guests need, and they were great with children too. The rooms are small but clean and well kept. The price for what you get is good, and the place has a cozy, homey feel since it’s family-run. Water draining, like the toilet flushing or shower runoff, can be a bit noisy at times.

I had to change rooms after the first night because the one I’d booked wasn’t available when I arrived, but they quickly found me a replacement for that night. From the second night on, I had a single room with a shower and toilet, though without a proper partition. For the price, the room was perfectly fine. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety. Internet wasn’t working, which I understand is Telekom’s fault. If you can do without internet, it’s an affordable place I’d recommend. I paid €40 a night for a week, including breakfast, which is hard to beat.
