Ferienhaus Kugelbake

Our kids were happily occupied in the fantastic playroom, even though the weather over Easter wasn't great. We agree with all the positive reviews. You can get to everything easily in a few minutes, either on foot or by car.

The playroom was the highlight for us. We'd brought very few toys on purpose, and hardly any came out of the bags. There are books for different ages, several Tiptoi books with pens, a Haba marble run, Lego, Duplo, a Hot Wheels track, a toy castle and dragons. Our son was happily busy, and by the end the toys had taken over the whole room. We spent two weeks there in July and August with four adults and our four-year-old, and were absolutely thrilled. The house is spacious and laid out well, with two large double bedrooms, a children's room with bunk beds, two bathrooms with showers, and an open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room. My son now wants a bunk bed at home. There's also a huge playroom. Many rooms, including all the bedrooms, have automatic shutters. The kitchen has a microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and more, and the furniture and appliances are high quality. There's a flat-screen TV in the living room, plus TV connections in both double bedrooms. We brought a small TV of our own and it worked perfectly. The basement has a washing machine. The garden is huge and good for football and other play, with a barbecue and a covered spot to sit outside even in light rain. Two parking spaces are available. There are six adult bikes, one with a child seat, three children's bikes in different sizes, a wooden balance bike and sand toys. The house was clean. Our contact with the owner before the stay was pleasant, and they replied promptly to our questions about bikes and the TV. The on-site support was always friendly, helpful and easy to reach. You can walk from the house to Grimmershörn Bay, which has a grassy beach. We always drove to the sandy beach in Döse. Cycling is possible, but we had too much stuff with us. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely book the house again if we return to Cuxhaven. Highly recommended!

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers, plus a fully equipped kitchen. The amenities are great, everything you need is there.
