We stayed in apartment 46. It worked fine as a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere cozy. The furnishings felt old and very basic, though the apartment otherwise looked clean. There was no frying pan, and the double bed was a Murphy bed with a section missing in the middle. The mattresses didn’t fit well and kept shifting. In the children’s room, we found silverfish, and the bed slats also kept sliding because they didn’t fit properly. Picking up the key from the apartment manager went smoothly.

UPDATE 2020: I’m furious. This review was for a different apartment, and I have no idea why it’s now posted under this one! The apartment I meant was a lovely little place for two, with nice furnishings and a good location. We enjoyed the small terrace, slept well, and had a very relaxing week. Dornumersiel made it easy to get to all the destinations. Highly recommended.

The season we visited wasn’t a great time to go. Many restaurants were shut, there wasn’t much going on, and we couldn’t find any fish to buy.
