The bathroom is compact but decent, and the rooms were surprisingly clean. Still, I wouldn’t stay here unless I had booked a private room. The front desk staff seemed odd, and twice the people working there went out for a 30-minute cigarette break while a line of guests waited. I wouldn’t bring a child here; it doesn’t feel kid-friendly.

The staff were kind, and we had a good time at the bar. Our room looked nice, with plenty of ways to charge phones, though the heating was weak. The bathroom is small but neatly laid out. The location was perfect, so I’d recommend staying here.

I arrived to find the bed unclean, and the room was so dusty that breathing was difficult. One of the sockets didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone. After two nights I felt really ill. Saving money here wasn’t worth it, though I suppose the condition may be fair for the price.

Jack was handling the check-in desk on his own with a long queue and difficult customers, but he kept things moving. He was calm, professional, and friendly when we spoke. Later, even with lots of people waiting for help at reception, he still took time to help me with something from the bar. I’ve worked in client services myself, and really appreciated his respectful, helpful approach. Jack deserves recognition. Thank you :)

The location is handy, close to the train station, supermarkets, and city centre, and the place itself is quite nice. I’ve stayed here several times. There can be a wait at the counter when one person is covering both reception and the bar. It would also be useful to have a proper kitchen, or at least somewhere to eat and heat food, even with a basic microwave.
