The apartment was dirty and badly maintained. It was uncomfortably hot when we arrived, and there were even forks wedged behind the trim in the kitchen doorway. We’d booked three apartments but were only given two because the third had been double booked. That left us short on beds, and the offered fix was at the airport, 15 km away, and only covered the missing beds for some of us. A terrible experience.

We left after just 10 minutes. The apartment we booked was filthy and disgusting, smelled of smoke, and had dirty laundry in the washing machine. It looked nothing like the pictures. The entrance was up a dark staircase and didn’t feel safe. The neighbourhood was terrible and dirty, with no parking. There were strange men and drug dealers everywhere. It felt like a refugee camp.

Don’t do it, whatever the price. It was a very disappointing place. There were 15 of us but only 13 beds, and they had no solution.

The surroundings were bad, especially the garden next to the living room, which smelled really bad. The mattress and sofa were quite dirty, and there was no hairdryer or shower products.

The apartment is close to everywhere in Dortmund, and it was clean. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. I’d definitely stay again if I come back to Dortmund. Strongly recommended ☺️
