Apartment 1, Rothenburger Straße

The apartment building is in a quiet spot and the place is practically furnished with what you need, but the cleaning felt superficial. There were black marks around the bathtub, sticky kitchen tiles, and the doors, frames, and radiators looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The side panels on the living room seating collapse into a reclined position as soon as you lean on them. We stayed in Apartment 2 on Rothenburger Straße. Getting to the courtyard meant driving down a narrow driveway, and the first thing we saw was overflowing garbage cans. The parking spaces are very tight.

We slept really well in the quiet rear building, and the beds were very comfortable. This was our second visit, in a different apartment, and we’re delighted again. Everything was very clean and equipped with what you could need: refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils, you name it. There’s parking in the courtyard and underground garage, though spaces are limited, plus a public garage around the corner. Bikes can be stored behind the building or in the basement. The owners are so friendly, flexible, and helpful. They made our very last-minute stay work. Thank you, we’ll be back!

We were in apartment 3 from October 2nd to 5th, 2023. Everything was great, it’s centrally located, clean, cozy, and has what you need. We’d happily come back. Many thanks to the lovely Melchers.
