The room itself was nice and clean, but I was really disappointed with how the owner handled things. Four days before our trip, my husband got a call saying our first night couldn't happen because the owner had forgotten to block the calendar and had given it to someone else. Then at 7:45 we were woken up to be told the water would be off from 8:00 to 10:00 for repairs. Work like that is scheduled in advance in Germany, so he could have let us know beforehand. At 9:00 he knocked again to ask when we could pay, even though this had already been discussed with his wife. My husband and I had been looking forward to sleeping in, and I felt we might have been treated with more respect if the owner knew what my husband does for a living. The payment receipt also only came after we asked for it, which I found surprising in a professional setting.

The apartment is in a quiet area, with public transport easy to reach and shops nearby. It's a lovely place, furnished with care and equipped with everything needed for everyday life. The landlord is friendly and easy to reach by phone.

You can really unwind up among the old, partly preserved vineyards, with full privacy and a view over the Elbe Valley from the terrace. It's a small, charming one-room holiday home, and a great starting point for the Elbe, Dresden, Radeberg, or Radebeul. An e-bike makes the steep climb up from the Elbe easy, and there's room to park it on the terrace. There's also a car parking spot on the street very close by. Inside, the kitchen has everything you could need, and the bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine. The landlord was very friendly.

It's a nice holiday apartment, but dealing with the renters was unprofessional. I'd strongly advise anyone interested to book through a portal rather than privately, so reservations, receipts, and everything else go smoothly and paying guests are treated like guests.

A lovely, clean little holiday apartment with everything you need. The landlords are very nice, and the location is great, with a view over Dresden 👍
