The hotel was one of the best I've experienced. Laubegast is a nice area, with a long walking and jogging stretch along the Elbe river. You can walk to the Blue Bridge or take the tram to Altstadt in about 25mins. The route is picturesque, even if that sounds like a long ride. Supermarkets, hotels, and a Pharmacy are close by, and the hotel gives you information on what to do and where to go in Dresden. Getting into town is easy, with trams every 10 minutes, and parking on the road or behind the hotel is easy too. Reception is courteous. My room was large and had Sat TV, a hot shower, and a nice carpet, plus everything else needed for comfort. There was even a small travel sewing kit and shoe shine cloth. Breakfast was filling and had plenty of variety.

It's a good spot to explore Dresden by car, and good value for money. Our room was big, and the staff were friendly. The WiFi didn't reach our room, though it worked fine from the lobby.
