Zum Goldenen Lamm

That good night box was a nice surprise, and it’s easy to find a store nearby if you need a late snack. The rooms were clean and it’s a great place to rest. Our TV froze completely about three minutes after starting, so a smart TV, even a budget model, might be a good choice for a future redesign.

The breakfast buffet really stood out, especially the homemade jam. You can tell right away that this is a family-run place, with plenty of personality, and everyone I dealt with at the hotel was lovely. Parking on site is limited, but that comes with being right in the historic centre of a village.

The breakfast had an excellent range and was really good, including eggs made to order. Our room was spacious and super clean, with even a little picnic area, and the host was friendly and keen to help. It was a bit off our usual North/South route and the other way round, but worth the extra mile.

The rooms have been renovated really well, and the hotel has great parking, a great kitchen, and breakfast. The staff are lovely too. Franziska recepcionist waited past working hours to give me a key ;) She wasn't a fan of Bugeln, unfortunately ;) Great little hotel, would recommend it.
