Apartment No. 3 is clean, tidy, spacious enough to move around in a wheelchair, and functional without unnecessary frills. It works well for a carefree holiday, with room to transfer beside the toilet, a roomy shower with a threshold of about 1.2 cm, and a sink that can be reached if the vanity unit is moved aside. There are no grab bars or other aids. There's also a small step of about 0.5 cm into the bathroom. It isn't actually ground level as advertised: there are two steps, and a portable ramp can be attached. A wheelchair user would have difficulty managing this alone because the ramp can't stay in place while the outward-opening door is closed. Someone should be there to help.

Using the sauna was a real highlight of a wonderful weekend with my wife. We really liked the apartment and enjoyed our stay, and we'd love to come back.

It's very well equipped and has bicycle storage. The location is quiet but still close to the old town, and the rooms are clean. One apartment even has a terrace where you can have breakfast. The only drawback was the bathroom, which felt too dark and didn't have enough lighting.

We felt very comfortable in these four holiday apartments on the grounds of a former sawmill. They're furnished in a modern, functional way, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the town center. For a nice view of the town, head left along the ramparts. After about 300 meters, take the next stairs down through the green area beside the old town wall to reach the historic center. To see more, keep following the ramparts to Steintor Street, then walk into the town center.
