I enjoyed staying here.

We were a small group on motorcycles and stopped here overnight. The welcome was really warm, and someone showed us to our rooms. They even made space in the carport so we could park the bikes there. The rooms were clean, roomy enough for our helmets and gear, and perfectly fine for a night. Breakfast was €11 and had what we needed to get the day started. The staff serving it were very friendly, and we saved the address for another trip nearby. A little fridge in the hallway with drinks would have been handy. We were hoping for a “Boot Beer,” a local beer.

You can sleep here, and that seems to be about it. There’s no kitchen now, though there used to be one. I ordered breakfast and still don’t know what it is or what it’ll be like. The bedroom TV is tiny, honestly, my computer screen is bigger, and even the remote looks larger than the TV. Makes me think they might be going bankrupt.

The rooms were clean, with fresh towels, and the size was fine for our one-night stay while attending a professional course. The furnishings are basic and practical, there’s an electric heater in the bathroom, and we didn’t need the balcony. But the rooms were very cold. A bit of heating before we arrived and a bottle of water with a glass would have been welcome. I could also hear every footstep from the neighboring room while in bed, so the walls may be thin. This is a family-run hotel with free parking beside it. We arrived around 10 pm. The woman who checked us in came across as unfriendly, though maybe she was just tired. She told us card payments weren’t working, and when we asked for a bill, said we’d need a cost coverage certificate from the manager, who couldn’t be reached that late. We tried the card anyway and luckily it went through. We were directed upstairs, though I would have preferred being shown to our rooms. We skipped breakfast because there wasn’t a vegan option for my colleague, so I can’t comment on it. Best wishes to Duderstadt.

The room was spacious and very clean, and breakfast at €11 was good value with all the usual things you’d expect. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The hotel is a little dated, but that didn’t get in the way of a one-night stay. It worked perfectly for us.
