I had hoped things would turn out differently, and I’m writing this with some regret. We booked several rooms for a number of guests, for about €1,300 in total, but an unexpected accident and other unforeseen circumstances meant we couldn’t stay. Once we understood what had happened, we contacted the hotel, explained the situation, and respectfully asked whether an alternative arrangement or any flexibility might be possible. I understand hotels have policies and constraints. What troubled me was that after the hotel sent a one-sided response, the reservation was treated as canceled, and we could no longer send messages or continue the conversation. Losing the chance to discuss a resolution was deeply troubling. In the end, we lost the full amount, a significant sum for us, and the experience was very disappointing. I respect the hotel’s right to enforce its policies, but I sincerely wish there had been some room for consideration in such exceptional circumstances. I hope guests facing truly unforeseen emergencies will have a chance to keep the dialogue open and receive compassionate flexibility where possible.

The hotel is well kept and within walking distance of the city center. We were here for the Christmas markets, and reception offering guests Glühwein and cookies was a lovely gesture. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our Superior room was a bit larger than our friends’ Comfort room, which was noticeably smaller. The bathroom in ours was quite small, especially the shower, but everything else was fine. Breakfast had a great variety, though the area is a little cramped and can feel crowded when guests are waiting for seats. A great choice for a short Düsseldorf stay.

The staff were excellent and very helpful, and the food was good quality. It’s near the railway station, and the hotel was clean. The room was a good size, though the bathroom was quite small. There weren’t many USB sockets, so overseas travelers will need power adapters.

The lounge bar bartender was very friendly, and breakfast offered a good range of choices. The hotel was clean, with rooms that were spacious enough, modern equipment, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom has been renovated, but the shower booth was quite small for a large guy like me. I could shower, but it was a bit inconvenient. Still, it didn’t bother me much, and the stay was great overall.

The room was darker than I’d have liked, and the shower felt too small and tight. The water was hot and the pressure was great, though. Breakfast was good and had all the usual things, but it wasn’t very luxurious. The hotel’s location is good, the staff are pleasant, and the environment is nice.
