We had a lovely short break at Aparthotel am Meer. It’s a beautifully renovated Art Nouveau building, centrally located in Cuxhaven-Duhnen. Our room was spacious, clean, and stylish, and the breakfast had a wide choice for everyone. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay, we’d be happy to return.

The breakfast is well worth having, and the breakfast staff were fantastic. We could use people like that in North Rhine-Westphalia. A perfect hotel in a great location.

We felt so comfortable here and will definitely be back. The welcome was warm, and we were looked after attentively without anyone hovering. The hotel has a long history and has been restored with care, with tasteful little details that don’t make it feel cluttered. It’s very clean, and they pay attention to sustainability. The beds were pure bliss. There’s a lovely restaurant on the ground floor where breakfast is served, and the buffet was amazing: lots of rolls and breads, perhaps homemade, plus cold cuts, salmon, cheese, salads, jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, and other treats. Everything was beautifully arranged and constantly topped up, so it stayed fresh. The staff there were exceptionally friendly and attentive too.

We return every year for a few days at the lovely "Hotel Am Meer" in Duhnen/Cuxhaven. It’s a dream of a hotel, from the rooms to the excellent food. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all highly recommended. A holiday in Duhnen is always worth it. Highly recommended! 👌
