The rooftop bar has lovely drinks and great views, though it's popular with locals, so booking a table is a good idea. I found the hotel cozy, with stylish interiors, and it offers a bit more than a standard place to stay in Düsseldorf.

The breakfast and its fantastic view were the best parts. The restaurant team were wonderful, and the hotel is very centrally located. But the reception experience and the condition of the room really let the stay down. We had contacted reception the day before and were looking forward to relaxing, especially in the sauna. It had actually been closed for maintenance for over a week, and nobody told us. When we raised it, reception showed no understanding or goodwill. We thought about cancelling when we arrived, but were offered just a 10% refund, which felt like a joke. The manager on duty, whose name I believe was Annika, could use a workshop on customer centricity. After a long discussion, they offered to refund the parking fee, though it was still uncertain until checkout. The room looked worn and not especially clean. The shower head was clogged and needed a proper cleaning, and we could clearly hear trains from the side facing the tracks. Prices are at a five-star level, but the hospitality and room quality aren't. A disappointing check-in, with the breakfast the only reason for the two stars. There are better hotel choices in Düsseldorf.

The evening had such a pleasant atmosphere, and we felt completely at ease. The food was the standout: fresh, beautifully prepared, and really well balanced. We'd be glad to return. Highly recommended!

The room was fun and quirky, though its layout could be more practical. Staff were friendly, breakfast was amazing with a view, and I enjoyed the sauna area and the rooftop bar's vibe. It's around a 20-minute walk to the city centre. Had an excellent stay.
