Those drills starting at 7 a.m. felt like they were inside my head and woke me up. You can’t gauge the morning construction next to the wall, even though earplugs are waiting in the room when you arrive. This is no place for a quiet or comfortable night, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you can’t sleep through construction noise.

I booked this hostel for a comfortable, quiet night, but drilling and other construction noise inside the building began around 7 AM and made it impossible to rest. It ruined the point of staying there. Afterwards, I contacted the owner in different ways to report what happened and ask for fair compensation. Despite several attempts and follow-ups, I still haven't heard back. Leaving guests without any acknowledgment or solution is very unprofessional. With the noise and the lack of customer service afterwards, I can't recommend this hostel.

The location is great, and everything was always clean. It's basically a self-check-in hostel with private rooms, big windows, and a shared bathroom that wasn't bad at all. Totally recommend! :)

The owners were lovely when I met them the next morning, and the place was clean and friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the shared bathroom was spotless. There's a good TV and a little fridge, which you don't get in many hotels. It's in a great location, and obviously the bathroom is shared, but that's why it's super cheap. Couldn't ask for much more. I'll 1000% stay there again. Thank you.

BLK Hostel was affordable and welcoming, and I loved how central it was for exploring Düsseldorf. The room was comfy and the shared bathrooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful via whatsapp, and self check-in and check-out were easy. I'd definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
