I wouldn't call this a hotel. My room smelled of cigarettes, and I even found an insect. There wasn't a bathroom: the toilet was outside the room, while the sink and shower were in the same room as the beds. They also changed my booking from a king-sized bed to a room with three single beds. It looked nothing like the photo. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

The hotel is old and has a terrible smell. Check-in was awful: on May 29, the administrator tried to take payment for the night without our permission, even though we'd already paid in advance. We had arrived late and were only staying for three hours before catching a bus in the morning. Be careful.

We had a confirmed room booking, but when we arrived the hotel said there were no rooms available and that it wasn't their problem because we'd booked through Booking. The receptionist was unpleasant, unfriendly and unprofessional. She couldn't speak German or English and kept saying, “Geld is nicht bei mir...” If you want your day and whole weekend ruined, book this hotel.

We arrived late and left early, so your experience may differ. The hotel had what you'd expect, but it was bare-bones. The toilet was across the hall, shared with other rooms, and breakfast was small but cozy.

It was a bad experience for me. I wanted a non-smoking room, but it smelled of cigarettes. The room was cold, and the insulation was really poor: cold air came in around the window edges, so I had to sleep in berets all night.
