We upgraded to a suite, and wow, it completely transformed our stay in Düsseldorf. If one is available, take it for the night. The staff looked after us so well and treated us like royalty. Everyone was fantastic, especially Mohamed, the room manager. Thanks for making us feel genuinely at home. Absolutely a 5 star experience!

There was no in-room phone, so whenever I needed help I had to use my own mobile or go downstairs to contact reception. That was inconvenient. The AC in my original Deluxe room wasn't working properly, and they moved me to a room in a different category. Staff called it an upgrade, but I thought my original category was better. I expected a more comfortable, straightforward stay from a hotel of this level. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.

The room was spacious, with a big fluffy duvet, a comfortable bed, and a premium blow dryer, and the man who checked me in was very nice and helpful. Public transport is a bit of a walk away, though not too bad. The breakfast staff are why I can't rate it higher. I went early, before it got busy, and they seemed to deliberately skip my table when clearing plates and cups. They stopped at every other table, chatted with people, and walked past mine several times. It struck me as really odd.

The location is excellent, with restaurants, offices, and public transport very close by. Some rooms are large and comfortable, with big balconies and good views. Noise can be an issue at night or in the morning depending on the weather and day of the week, especially with garbage pickup. The climate control is odd. It may only offer heating, and there was just one heavy down comforter even in warm weather.
