The low price is a plus. For anyone considering a stay, though, there’s no breakfast available at all, even for an extra charge, because the dining room and lobby are being used as a COVID testing center. There’s also no kettle in the room, and the testing facility is right in the middle of the hotel. During my six nights, nobody cleaned the room, changed the bedding, or even emptied the bin. Reception is unstaffed, so you have to call a phone number, and check-in isn’t until 16:00.

Hotel Rosenhof made our stay feel special. The room was great, everything was clean, and the family hosting us were so welcoming. They even have a charming dog. They also give you a travel ticket that lets you get around until you leave, which is really convenient. For a lovely stay where you feel a bit like royalty, I’d choose this place.

I’ve been coming back since 2012 and really love the place. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good, and the couple who own it are very friendly and helpful. It’s right in the center of Angermund, which is pretty much central wherever you need to be in Angermund. Kaiserswerth is just a 10-minute bus ride away.

A quiet spot with free parking and a really good breakfast. Everything was clean, the people were friendly, and the rates were very reasonable. I’d definitely come back.
