Ruby Luna Hotel Dusseldorf by IHG

Olga, Emmi and Sandy were lovely hosts, friendly and helpful, and their English was excellent. I especially liked the tea bar, with its delicious selection available all day. There's also a comfortable bar downstairs and a very good breakfast. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the Alstadt, the river walk, shops and galleries, and around 20 minutes from the airport by taxi. I'm glad I found Ruby Luna and would happily recommend it.

The staff made the stay for us, especially Emmi and Olha. They were professional, warm, genuinely kind and easy to talk to, and made us feel very welcome. We'd happily come back. We loved the guitars by the bar and that guests are encouraged to play them. It gives the place a fun, creative, social feel that suits the hotel's rock spirit. The bar itself has great energy and is somewhere you'd actually want to spend time. The rooms carry that same feel, with Marshall amplifiers and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the bedroom. The common areas had a relaxed, cool atmosphere with plenty of character from the moment we arrived. We had a great stay at Ruby Luna Düsseldorf.

Sandy, Olha and Emmi deserve a special shout-out for cheerfully handling our frequent, complicated drink orders. The lobby was beautiful, the bar stayed open 24 hours, and the service was lovely. We were here for Euroshop and had also stayed at the Ruby in Frankfurt. Thanks for making it such a wonderful stay.

The rooms are small, but have everything you need. It did get a bit too warm in ours, even in winter. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast had a great selection with lots of vegan options. They were also really helpful when I arranged for a package to be delivered there as a surprise for my boyfriend. A great choice for a quick getaway, highly recommend.
