Hotel Sir & Lady Astor

The room was clean and had enough space, but the heat made it hard to sleep. There was no air conditioning, even though my booking.com reservation listed it.

I’ve stayed in almost every room over the years, and coming back is always a pleasure. I’ve been here several times a year since 2018 for business in Düsseldorf, and it remains my favourite choice when I’m in town or the surrounding area. My family enjoyed their visit too. The rooms, lobby and corridors are spotless, even by my very strict standards. The rooms are top quality and tastefully decorated, and breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly and professional, discreet but helpful, and always happy to deal with my requests. I feel welcome, happy and safe here, almost like I’m at home. It’s near the main train station in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre. The area is fun and interesting to explore, so that walk is well worth it. Thank you for everything! I’ll gladly come back.

The rooms were good, and breakfast was fantastic. It’s close to the train station, which worked well for me since I needed to go to Coln, but it’s far from downtown.

We only stayed two nights, but were very pleased. The room was on the small side, though the location was excellent. Everything was very clean, and every staff member was welcoming and provided outstanding service. Breakfast was excellent too.
