The neighborhood was quiet, and the place felt cozy, right in the city center. Breakfasts were tasty, though some hot dishes were missing. The hotel's parking area was a bit too small. The service was very nice and helpful.

We stayed for three nights in June 2016 while traveling from the U.S., and it was a good experience. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and the servers and hotel staff speak English. It's a quaint, sweet German-style stay rather than a fancy American hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable for sleeping, with enough space for three: a double bed and a sofa chair that pulled out into a twin bed. The dining room was inviting and the food was delicious. One travel tip: if you want still water in Germany, you have to ask for it. Otherwise you may get sparkling water, which tastes like Alka-Seltzer to me. The hotel has an elevator, but its door closes very quickly.

The hotel has a lovely historical feel and design. Breakfast had a great, generous selection, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The lady serving us at breakfast was especially pleasant and welcoming.

The restaurant was closed, and when I complained that the TV in room 54 didn't work and the WiFi had no signal, they said there was nothing they could do. They advertise free parking, but there are only eight spaces at the hotel. The free parking is actually on the road along the River.

A very clean place with nice staff. Breakfast didn't have a lot to choose from, but the food was good.
