We had a wonderful stay in the vacation apartment at "Haus zum Seiltänzer," right in Eckernförde's historic center. The owners were friendly and helpful, and gave our two large dogs a warm welcome. If you enjoy old houses with plenty of character, this carefully and tastefully furnished place is a treat. It had everything we could need, with quality throughout. We’d love to return, as long as our dog can still handle the historic stairs, which are even designed to be dog-friendly.

The apartment’s location was great, and the landlords were very nice. Our upper deck apartment was pleasantly furnished, but the old building is crooked and uneven. The toilet wobbled so much that I worried it might fall through the floor. There was also a strong smell of cleaning products, even though we didn’t move in until eight hours after it had been cleaned.

The owners were cheerful and friendly, and gave us and our furry friends such a warm welcome. The "Lighthouse" is practical and charmingly furnished, right in the old town and just a short walk from the harbor. There are lots of little shops nearby for browsing and lingering. We had a fantastic few days, thank you!
