CS Hotel Schweiger

There was no hot water at all, so I canceled on my first day and was promised a refund. I'd paid for all four nights upfront, but even four weeks later, nothing had come back. Calls go unanswered and messages get no reply. I'd stay away from this place. It's a disaster.

The tables at breakfast were partly dirty, with crumbs on one unused table and a dead fly clearly visible on another. That stood out, especially with the hygiene rules in place. The breakfast selection was limited: two types of pale pre-baked rolls, some barely baked through, and flavored fruit yogurt. It took around fifteen minutes for anyone to show up, and guests had to wait for coffee since each cup was made separately and came last. There wasn't a towel in our room either. The receptionist said one would be brought right away, but apparently forgot. A warm shower was possible, but only after letting the water run for about fifteen minutes. The hotel looks stylish, but that's about it.

After a fantastic brunch, we're setting off on our vacation. We stayed one night while passing through, two couples together, and were very pleased. The rooms had been beautifully renovated and were spotless. Dinner from the menu was delicious, and both the owners and staff were courteous and attentive. Thanks so much for everything, we'd happily return! 😊 Some people always find something to complain about, but we all have our quirks, don't we?

Breakfast was a mess too. The bacon I ordered was charred and inedible, and the cheese and sausage were stale. During my stay, there was no hot water when I first tried to shower after a six-hour drive. I got dressed again and waited 25 minutes at reception, despite calling and ringing repeatedly, because there was no staff around. They sent me to another room, where the water only came back after I'd dressed and complained twice. In the morning it was the opposite, just boiling water. There was no offer of compensation or a discount. I stay in hotels often and rarely complain, but this was outrageous, an absolute disaster. I won't come back or recommend it to anyone. Thanks for nothing!
