We’re already thinking about coming back to this lovely wine region. The location works well for hiking, relaxed walks, and bike rides, and dogs are welcome too. The hof shop has local wine, fresh produce, spices, and homemade marmalades. Breakfast was a treat, with naturally grown fruit and vegetables, and the accommodation was spotless. Everyone was so friendly. This place really is a dream.

We booked Silvis Häusle for five nights for two adults and a baby, but left after three. We’d chosen the place mainly for the farm facilities and atmosphere, and only found out on arrival that the house was 1.7 km away, across the village. That wasn’t mentioned on the website or in the confirmation email. There was no green space, just a terrace that didn’t feel very welcoming. The house itself was cozy and fully equipped, and fresh fruit and vegetables had been left for us. Breakfast at the farm was excellent.

We felt right at home during our week with the Hiss family at the end of October. The holiday apartment, farm shop, breakfast, and, above all, their friendly welcome made the stay wonderful. We’d happily return.
