Landgasthof Pension Weber

There’s plenty of parking, and the outdoor seating and spots to relax are fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The guesthouse sits in beautiful countryside with stunning views, close to the lovely town of Mühlhausen. We’ll definitely come back.

Breakfast was a highlight each day, fresh, varied, and nicely presented. Pension Weber is quiet and surrounded by greenery, just right for a few restful days away from the daily grind. The hosts greeted me with a smile and were courteous throughout; you can feel how much they value hospitality. Thuringia’s central location gives you plenty of options for day trips. I visited Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, which was impressive both for its history and its setting, and also went to Weimar, where history and culture are all around without the city feeling crowded. My stay with the Weber family was relaxed, friendly, and restful. I’d love to return, maybe soon!

The location is especially good for anyone who enjoys nature and a quiet break, with plenty of hiking and excursion options nearby. I was impressed by Hainich National Park, with its primeval beech forest and wonderful treetop walkway. Mühlhausen is easy to reach too, with a medieval old town, many churches, and a historic city wall. At Landgasthof Pension Weber, I found the warm, family-like welcome continued throughout my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, and gave me the quiet I wanted. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with rolls, cold cuts, cheese, muesli, fruit, and different drinks, all thoughtfully laid out. It was a lovely mix of nature, rest, and hospitality.

The prices I was given didn’t match the ones on the website, which felt misleading and unprofessional. When I called, the woman was extremely unfriendly, hung up in the middle of the conversation, and showed no interest in my request. That treatment of a potential guest is unacceptable. I can’t recommend the guesthouse and strongly advise against booking here.
