The apartment was well-equipped for cooking, warm, and surprisingly quiet for its location. Most places were easy to reach on foot. Communication was frustrating: staff took a long time to respond, and after check-in they stopped answering my questions until after I'd checked out. That felt a bit shady, don't you think? They also asked me to pay a tax that I'd already paid, then dropped it after I contacted Booking.com. There was a random cola in the fridge, and there's no elevator.

The kitchen was a big plus during the Covid lockdown, and after trying lots of hotels in Eisenach, this is one of the best places I've stayed. Google seems to show rooms across the street. In the Sunshine room, the TV had somehow lost its WiFi connection, but it was no big deal to reconnect it. Maybe slippers would be nice on the hardwood floor, and coffee powder too, since filters are provided. I hope they add a gas BBQ grill on the balcony in summer, because Eisenach has the best sausages in Germany! I really love the place, five stars from me.
