Breakfast works differently here: you fill out a card with what you want, and can order more, so it’s just as good as a buffet while helping cut waste and keep costs down. The guest house is a beautiful traditional Bavarian place, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Food is well prepared, excellent quality, and good value. Evening meals are really good, but only served Thursday to Sunday, 18.00-21.00. It’s right by the lake and perfectly placed for visiting Neuschwanstein or Hohenschwangau castles. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The service went beyond what I expected. They let me charge a bike battery for free, which was really kind and made a big difference to my stay. Breakfast was set up nicely, with everything you could think of, and the staff were attentive, listened, and were accommodating. It’s a perfect stop while traveling, with plenty of Superchargers too. I’ll recommend it to others and book again.

We were welcomed by wonderfully friendly, helpful staff the morning after arriving very late. The self check-in was easy, and our clean, quiet, well-appointed room gave us a restful night. The beds were exceptionally comfortable after the long drive. We were also pleasantly surprised by the free, high-quality coffee. I stayed one night at Montana Hotel Ellwangen with my parents on our road trip from Milan to Hamburg, and we could bring our beloved cat along because the hotel is pet-friendly. For animal lovers like us, that really sets it apart. A top-notch place that goes above and beyond for guests’ comfort and satisfaction, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.

A large free parking area and fast, reliable Wi-Fi were real pluses. The rooms were clean, the beds were good, and I always slept exceptionally well there. Staff were very polite and friendly, with excellent service, and the breakfast buffet has a wide range of choices. Good hotel!

Dinner is the weak point, with a small menu. But the rooms are clean and have a good bathroom, the people are friendly, and breakfast is good. All in all, it’s a good place to stay for a night on a long trip.
