The hotel is in a quiet setting close to Freiburg, with clean, lovely rooms and a huge range of breakfast options. They were really helpful with special requests. There aren’t many parking spaces, though.

We got in incredibly late, and they stayed up for us. Two idiots traveling from Arizona 🤣. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms are modern with everything very clean. This place is amazing so far, and I’d recommend it to anyone!

I stay here whenever I’m in the area. The food and room service are really good, and the chef makes interesting, well-composed meals and wonderful soups. My favorites were melon and pumpkin. The Wi-Fi can be a bit weak at times, but it’s not a big problem. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet spot, with its own parking lot. If it’s full, finding a public space nearby usually isn’t a problem. The countryside is lovely too, with a castle ruin about a 30-minute walk away and a viewing platform close by. Runners will be happy here. Not all the staff speak English well, but they do their best to make you happy. There’s a variety of rooms; I heard one has a king-size waterbed 😱. It’s definitely one of the most comfortable places, and makes you relax :)

Our friends go every week, so we can see why. Tuesday dinner was outstanding, well worth the drive for a 5-star meal.

We arrived with two children just 10 minutes before the official lunch service was due to end, which was 2 pm. I understood that lunch was served until then. Being told bluntly that lunch was OVER made me feel unwelcome. I found it rude and very disappointing.
