Savoir Vivre Modern Retreat

We spent about 11 days in the Kaiserstuhl and never ran out of things to do. We explored within a 30-80 km radius, including Freiburg, Europa-Park, the Wutach Gorge and Lake Titisee. We also did a roughly 20 km guided group kayaking trip on the Rhine. A small quarry lake nearby was easy to find, and it was almost too warm for hiking in the Kaiserstuhl. The apartment made a great base. It was in excellent condition and furnished and equipped with real attention to detail. There was lots of room for two, plus two balconies with electric awnings. Parking on the street or in front was no problem. The kitchen had everything needed to cook, including quality branded appliances: an oven, microwave, small extra oven, coffee maker, good fully automatic coffee machine, kettle, toaster, Brita water filter, air conditioning and more. There are several good places to eat within a few kilometers, from village restaurants and pubs to pizzerias, traditional German regional food and an ice cream shop. The landlords were very friendly and easy to reach by email or phone. Communication was no problem. With the apartment, its location and all its amenities, it was well worth 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
