The balcony was shared, and the room got unbearably hot. We couldn't open the windows because mosquitoes would have come in. The owner seemed to cut corners wherever possible, and was terribly unfriendly. Our booked room apparently didn't exist. The replacement had an old shower and a dirty sink, even though the double room had seemed to have a nice modern bathroom. The owner offered us another room, then charged extra for this “service” at checkout. Better to find somewhere else to stay.

A comfortable, lovely dining area, and the portions are generous. The food was delicious, and the service was so friendly. Seems like a good spot for celebrating weddings and things like that. Recommend it ❤️👍🏾

The service really stood out. They knew we'd be visiting on a day the kitchen was closed, so they took the initiative to find a nearby restaurant and offered to reserve a table for us. The food was excellent too. It's a neat, beautiful, classic German Landgasthof in a small village amid the lovely Franconian landscape. Highly recommended!

There’s a lovely beer garden outside, but the weather kept us from using it, and inside there’s no bar where you can sit and have a drink. There aren’t other places to eat nearby, so book a table when you arrive, the restaurant gets busy. Lovely hotel.

The room had no air conditioning, which was a downside on a day above 30°C. The staff were professional, and some spoke English. Very good overall, with a good restaurant and outstanding beer. Recommended.
