Getting here by public transport wasn't very convenient, since the walk from the train station goes uphill for quite a while. I also wasn't keen on finding out that breakfast cost extra. Still, it was clean, nicely arranged and elegant, and good value for the money.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The hotel itself was beautiful.

A really old, run-down hotel.

For a short stop, it was fine. The place has the plain style and feel of a typical tradesman's hotel. Just keep in mind it's rooms only, with no reception, and you need to collect the key at the affiliated hotel about 300 meters away.

It's a quiet spot, and everything was clean. Big Eppel is only a five-minute walk away, and there's plenty of free parking. The room didn't have a safe, unfortunately. For late arrivals, keys have to be collected at the neighboring hotel. Good value for money.
